Vehicle Mechanic

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team within one of the UK’s most modern and professional vehicle salvage agents and parts recyclers based in Thame, Oxford.

Key duties

• The role involve servicing and repairing Company and Auction vehicles.
• You will also be required to remove car parts from a wide range of accident damaged vehicles in our busy modern workshop, which will be for re-sale to the trade and general public.
• A good knowledge of modern vehicles would be a distinct advantage.

Key skills

• Previous motor mechanics / Bodyshop experience
• Possession of your own set of tools.
• Previous Forklift driving experience (desirable but not essential)
• Team Player

The successful applicant must be reliable, enthusiastic and conscientious and be comfortable working in a very busy, fast-moving environment.

This role will be based in a modern state of the art dismantling workshop that can be viewed via the video tour on our website

8:00am - 5:00pm (4:45pm on Fridays)

Rate of pay

Competitive salary, depending on experience, to be reviewed once the 3-month probationary period has been successfully completed. Plus, upon successful completion eligibility for a discretional monthly bonus and petrol allowance.
