Car Parts Delivery Driver (Long Distance)

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team within one of the UK’s most modern and professional vehicle salvage agents and parts recyclers based in Thame, Oxford.

Key duties

• The primary duties of the role will involve driving one of our fleet MAN TGE vans to deliver second-hand car parts to our customers, departing from our depot in Thame, Oxon, then travelling North.
• There are approximately 15-20 deliveries a day, and they will be to a mixture of business addresses and private residences. Satellite navigation systems are supplied.

Key skills

• Having a clean driving license would be preferable, as would any previous experience in delivery work of the motoring trade.
• The successful candidate must be reliable, enthusiastic, and comfortable working in a busy fast-moving environment.

Working hours

- The shifts to be either Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday, with an anticipated 40.5 hours a week, starting at 6.30am. - The role will involve 2 overnight stays a week, with an overnight allowance.

Rate of pay

The salary is £27,500 + monthly bonus, once the 3-month probationary period has been completed.
