Car Parts Delivery Driver (Long Distance)

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team within one of the UK’s most modern and professional vehicle salvage agents and parts recyclers based in Thame, Oxford.

Key duties

• The primary duties of the role will involve driving one of our fleet transit vans to deliver second-hand car parts to our customers, departing from our depot in Thame, Oxon, then travelling North.

Key skills

• Having a clean driving license would be preferable, as would any previous experience in delivery work of the motoring trade.
• The successful candidate must be reliable, enthusiastic, and comfortable working in a busy fast-moving environment.

Working hours

As this is a new role, we expect the shifts to be Tuesday to Friday, with an anticipated 40.5 hours a week, starting at 6.30am. We predict the role will involve 2 overnight stays a week, with an overnight allowance.

Rate of pay

Competitive salary, depending on experience, to be reviewed once the 3-month probationary period has been successfully completed. Plus, upon successful completion eligibility for a discretional monthly bonus and petrol allowance.
