Accounts Assistant
This is an exciting opportunity to join the team within one of the UK’s most modern and professional vehicle salvage agents and parts recyclers based in Thame, Oxford.
Key duties
The main responsibility of the Accounts Assistant role will involve dealing with the purchase ledger and Credit Control
Other duties will include:
- Processing suppliers invoices onto SAP
- Imputing invoices onto Fleetcheck (Database)
- Payment runs and supplier statement reconciliation
- Ensuring all payments are reconciled on suppliers accounts
- Preparing daily payments when requested
- Posting credit card transactions
- Credit control for Parts customers to include posting receipts
- Counting cash daily
- Ad hoc duties as required
Key skills
- Previous Purchase Ledger/Credit control experience
- Excellent excel skills
- Ideally knowledge of SAP
- Experience of working in a busy Accounts environment
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Team Player
